These odds continue to increase every year as the American Automobile Association reports that it gets calls from more than four million people who have locked themselves out every year. Dial 911

Safety is always a priority, so if you feel you are in danger, do not hesitate to call 911. In many cases, the police can help you unlock, but if they can’t, they will probably request a tow truck that will be on your tab. A very small price to pay for safety. Call Roadside Assistance

If you are a member of an auto club or have subscribed to AAA, Allstate, or any other organization that provides roadside assistance, take advantage of this opportunity to call for help. They should be able to know how to help you.

If you have no other option, a tow truck might be able to help you. They offer lockout services or can tow your car to safety until you find a spare key.
